On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Freeport, Illinois—affectionately known as “Pretzel City, USA”—hosted its fourth annual Pretzel Fest, a celebration of community, flavor, and a bit of salty fun. Organized by the Greater Freeport Partnership, the event featured a variety of activities, including live entertainment, food vendors, and a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest pretzel image created by humans.
